On an average night in 2019, 5,290 Chicagoans did not have a place to call home. Tens of thousands more are just one unexpected setback away from joining them.
All Chicago effectively combines immediate resources with long term strategies to address the complex issue of homelessness.
With your help, we prevent and end homelessness through emergency financial assistance, community partnerships, data analytics, and training and research. Your gift will be used to support these efforts, helping the thousands of Chicagoans experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

We manage a citywide database to collect and analyze data on people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and the services they receive.

We offer our trainings, tools, information and research to our partners to help us build capacity to address homelessness more effectively.
Facing the prospect of homelessness, Morene dialed 3-1-1 and asked for short-term help. Within a matter of days, All Chicago provided assistance to help Morene move into her new home. “All Chicago really rescued me,” Morene says, smiling. “I’m just so grateful.”
Unfortunately, Morene’s story is not unique.

All Chicago seeks to create a community in which a home is a reality for everyone, and provide donors with a real path to being part of the solution. There are a variety of ways for you to support our mission. We hold our stewardship role in the highest regard, and greatly appreciate your contributions.
Join our Monthly Giving Program
Monthly donors are truly champions of our mission. Simply sign up online by selecting the “recurring gift” option. You can start, change or stop your gift at any time. In lieu of gift receipts after each donation, you will receive one per year each January with the total giving for the year, as well as a letter detailing the accomplishments your donations helped us achieve.
Breakfast with All Chicago
Join us for our annual Breakfast with All Chicago! Each year at our signature fundraising event, we highlight our progress in preventing and ending homelessness and recommit to making sure all our neighbors have stable homes. All proceeds from this event support our work to prevent and end homelessness in Chicago. Please contact our team with any questions about the event at giving@allchicago.org.
Make a Tribute Gift in Honor or Memory of a Loved One
A gift in tribute of a friend, family member, or colleague is a wonderful way to show your esteem and admiration. Upon receipt of your gift, we will send a personalized card to the honoree, or in the event of a memorial gift, to your designated recipient. The specific gift amount will be kept confidential. If making your gift online, be sure to complete the Tribute Information section of the donation form. If mailing your payment, be sure to include the name and address of the person to whom we should send the card.
Ask Your Employer about Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor corporate matching gift programs and will match their employees’ charitable contributions. With a matching gift from your employer, you may be able to double or even triple the size of your original gift. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. If your company has a matching gift program, contact your company’s human resources department to learn about your options. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request — online forms, automated phone systems, or a paper form that you submit to All Chicago.
Donations of Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds

Planned Giving
You can make your planned gift in many ways. The most common planned gifts are made through wills, bequests, retirement accounts, life insurance policies, or gift annuities. Many of these gifts provide tax benefits to the donor and we recommend that you consult with your legal advisor to determine what’s best for you.
