All Chicago’s Online Learning Center provides training, workshops, and technical assistance resources that build capacity within Chicago’s Continuum of Care and homeless services sector. Through this work, we support organizations and community members strengthen skills and knowledge needed to achieve our collective vision of ending and preventing homelessness in Chicago.
Our Learning Center provides trainings, workshops, and resources in the following core areas:
- Chicago CoC Structure: Information about the structures and processes of Chicago’s Continuum of Care, such as the Coordinated Entry System and Implementation Structure
- Direct Service and Best Practices: Information that equips direct service staff to provide high-quality services to participants engaged with CoC programs
- Program Administration and Compliance: Guidance on regulatory requirements for HUD-funded programs and best practices for program implementation

Self-paced training courses through All Chicago’s Learning Management System (LMS)
All Chicago uses an online Learning Management System (LMS) to manage registration for upcoming live trainings and store training materials. The LMS holds more than 100 recorded and self-paced trainings available to CoC community members. These on-demand courses can be used to assist with training new staff, orienting to the Chicago CoC, or advancing knowledge of best practices and program requirements.

Peer-to-Peer Group
All Chicago hosts a monthly peer-to-peer group for staff in the Chicago homeless services sector. These meetings are discussion-based and designed to promote an environment of sharing and learning. Peer-to-peer groups offer an opportunity for staff across agencies to share knowledge, skills, experience, and best practices
Peer-to-peer groups take place on the third Thursday of each month, from 9:30-11am. The meeting topics rotate monthly, based on identified community needs. Past examples of meeting topics include:
- Engaging participants in supportive services
- Addressing staffing shortages
- Using data to assess project performance

Technical Assistance Resource Library
All Chicago provides technical assistance to agencies within the Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC) to aid learning and help resolve identified needs or issues. The Technical Assistance Resource library can be accessed here.
