Committees and Workgroups

Project Prioritization Workgroup (PPW)

This group addresses potential funding for new Continuum of Care projects and develop the Priority Listing (Ranking) Policy for the FY 2019 HUD CoC Collaborative Application NOFA. The PPW’s responsibilities include:

  • Establishing New Project priorities based on local and national priorities and trends
  • Developing, reviewing, and scoring New Project Letters of Interest and applications
  • Developing New Project recommendations for the CoC Board of Directors to review and approve
  • Developing and recommending the 2019 Priority Listing (ranking) policies to the CoC Board of Directors

The anticipated level of commitment is approximately 1-2 two-hour meetings a month; one all-day meeting to discuss New Project applications; and one all-day meeting for New Project applicants to present their projects in-person. Additional meetings may be required.

Community members with knowledge of HUD CoC-funded programs are encouraged to participate. HUD-funded providers may participate in helping to develop the New Projects LOI and application but will need to recuse themselves from participating in developing the Ranking Policy Recommendations.

Please contact Karen Kowal (KKowal@allchicago.org) if you are interested in participating or if you have any questions.
