As part of the CoC’s work on the CoC Charter and governance issues this year, the Board Affairs Committee is engaging with technical assistance providers with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and getting support from the University of Illinois – Chicago graduate students of Public Policy as part of their Capstone Project.

The Capstone Graduates will hold 2 listening sessions to hear more about CoC governance issues that CoC members would like to address. These will be smaller sessions with attendance capped to ensure those who attend can fully engage in the session. We opened registration first to members of the Lived Experience Commission and the Youth Action Board to ensure that the voices of people with lived expertise are at the forefront of our work.

Registration is now open to the entire Chicago CoC. CoC members are encouraged to participate in the sessions to voice opinions on the CoC’s Charter and potential amendments to the Charter. The listening sessions will take place over Zoom.

Both listening sessions will be identical, so you only need to register for one. Since the registration is capped, please only register if you can attend. The UIC Graduate students may add an additional session if these fill up.
