The CoC Board’s Board Affairs Committee has obtained technical assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to review and update the governance policies on how the CoC operates and how decisions get made. One of the first steps in the process is to ensure CoC members have a baseline understanding of conflicts of interest and how they show up in the CoC’s decision-making processes and meetings.

We strongly encourage all CoC members to participate in one of these trainings. Participation is even more important if you play a role on the CoC Board and/or one of its Committees, such as the Board Affairs Committee, System Operations and Performance Committee, Collaborative Applicant Committee, and/or Finance Committee.
