Training Objectives:
• Understand core skills for successful case management
• Engage in exercises that create realistic situations and expose participants to a broad range of engagement strategies that will explore circumstances and difficulties that occurs when engaging a client in services.
• This is part two in a series of topics exploring the “A Day in the Life” of a case manager.

Description: This training will examine the full range of case management applications and information on the importance of the ecological model in assessment and planning as we gain knowledge of current practice trends, define ethics and how ethical issues are central to the role. This training is for direct line staff and supervisors.

Follow-up Session(s): The follow-up session will be building from initial training focus will be on lecture and implementation reframing this question “What did you learn from this training?”

• Round table discussion that could best practice for implementation

• Role-plays scenarios how can we implement motivational interviewing tie back into the core principle
